The Window Through Which We Look
The next morning while they were eating breakfast,
The young woman saw her neighbour hanging the wash outside.
'That laundry is not very clean,' she said.
'She doesn't know how to wash correctly.
Perhaps she needs better laundry soap.'
Her husband looked on, but remained silent.
Every time her neighbour would hang her wash to dry,
The young woman would make the same comments.
About one month later, the woman was surprised to see
a nice clean wash on the line and said to her husband:
'Look, she has learned how to wash correctly.
I wonder who taught her this.'
The husband said, 'I got up early this morning and
Cleaned our windows.'
And so it is with life.
What we see when watching others depends on the window through which we look...

Excellence is not a skill. It is an attitude.
Suddenly he noticed a similar idol lying nearby. Surprised, he asked the sculptor, "Do you need two statues of the same idol?"
"No," said the sculptor without looking up, "We need only one, but the first one got damaged at the last stage."
The gentleman examined the idol and found no apparent damage... "Where is the damage?" he asked. "There is a scratch on the nose of the idol." said the sculptor, still busy with his work. "Where are you going to install the idol?"
The sculptor replied that it would be installed on a pillar twenty feet high.
"If the idol is that far, who is going to know that there is a scratch on the nose?" the gentleman asked. The sculptor stopped his work, looked up at the gentleman, smiled and said, "I know it and God knows it!"
Moral - The desire to excel should be exclusive of the fact whether someone appreciates it or not. Excellence is a drive from inside, not outside. Excel at a task today - not necessarily for someone else to notice but for your own satisfaction.

MONEY IS YOURS BUT RESOURCES BELONG TO THE SOCIETY
like Benz, BMW, Siemens etc. The nuclear reactor pump is made in a small
town in this country.
In such a country, many will think its people lead a luxurious life.
At least that was my impression before my study trip.
When I arrived at Hamburg, my colleagues who work in Hamburg arranged
a welcome party for me in a restaurant.
As we walked into the restaurant, we noticed that a lot of tables were
empty. There was a table where a young
couple was having their meal. There were only two dishes and two cans of
beer on the table. I wondered if such simple meal could be romantic, and
whether the girl will leave this stingy guy.
There were a few old ladies on another table. When a dish is served,
the waiter would distribute the food for them, and they would finish every
bit of the food on their
plates.
We did not pay much attention to them, as we were looking forward to
the dishes we ordered. As we were hungry, our local colleague ordered
more food for
us.
As the restaurant was quiet, the food came quite fast. Since there
were other activities arranged for us, we did not spend much time dining.
When we left, there was still about one third of unconsumed food on the
table.
When we were leaving the restaurant, we heard someone calling us. We
noticed the old ladies in the restaurant were talking about us to
the restaurant owner. When they spoke to us in English, we understood
that they were unhappy about us wasting so much food. We immediately felt
that they were really being too
busybody.
"We paid for our food, it is none of your business how much food we
left behind," my colleague Gui told the old ladies.
The old ladies were furious. One of them immediately took her hand phone
out
and made a call to someone. After a while, a man in uniform claimed to be
an
officer from the Social Security organization arrived. Upon knowing what
the dispute was, he issued us a 50 Mark fine.
We all kept quiet. The local colleague took out a 50 Mark note
and repeatedly apologized to the
officer.
The officer told us in a stern voice, "ORDER WHAT YOU CAN CONSUME, MONEY
IS YOURS BUT RESOURCES BELONG TO THE SOCIETY. THERE ARE MANY OTHERS IN THE
WORLD WHO ARE FACING SHORTAGE OF RESOURCES. YOU HAVE NO REASON TO
WASTE RESOURCES.´”
Our face turned red. We all agreed with him in our hearts. The mindset of
people of this rich country put all of us to shame. WE REALLY NEED TO
REFLECT ON THIS. We are from country which is not very rich in resources.
To save face, we order large quantity and also waste food when we give
others a treat. THIS LESSON TAUGHT US A LESSON TO THINK SERIOUSLY ABOUT
CHANGING OUR BAD HABITS.
My colleague Photostatted the fine ticket and gave a copy to each of us as
a souvenir. All of us kept it and pasted on our wall to remind us that we
shall never be wasteful.

The victories story
Every one knows about Hitler’s unlawfulness and cruelty. This is the story of a man who lost his entire family, but not desiring to live
His name was
He is hungry, felt by loss of his family, and also he shouldn’t get any help from any one. He must work till his death.
He took a decision to escape from there. He know no one is alive who tried to escape from there
He won’t think as “will I do it “ he thinks as” how to do it”
That time he smelled of dead bodies. When he saw there was a lorry full of dead bodies of male female and also children. Some of them without having any cloths
He did not criticize any one. On seeing that he did not even pray for god. He did not waste time by doing so. He thought he got an opportunity. He removed his dress and merged with dead bodies and acted as one. His desire to escape gave him an opportunity to escape. The same opportunity gave him strength and patience even with that smell, weight of dead bodies and also hungriness.
After long time the lorry moved and crossed the walls of that jail. It reached to a desert the driver left the dead bodies.
The lorry went away, after he conformed that no one is there near by, he woke up and walked nearly 25 miles without dress because of his desire to live, his desire to escape and his desire for freedom
Lak (h)es of people dead but lake only escaped.
He did not blame god or his bad luck. Actually his luck is that he did not think about bad luck
So luck depends on thoughts only
If we have a thirst for success it makes us successful that success may not be got by others.
The first quality of a winner is his thinking of “how to win”.
Change the thoughts to success it get luck with us.
There are many situations which are uncontrolled by us like market crisis, losses. We can’t control them but if we think we will get an opportunity by then
Every one try some time and then leave thinking it is impossible the fear of loss make people not to work several times
Thomas Alva Edison says “I don’t want to say I lost thousand times I want to say I found thousand ways which will not work.
Our future will not depend on past it depend on present only if we work now we will overcome drawbacks of past
So many people say I tried a lot but they didn’t try even more that 10 times actually.
If our work not seems to be working successfully but day by day we have to try more than yesterday that is secrete of victories people
Winner’s blue print for success:
Believe while others doubting
Plan while others playing
Study while others sleeping
Decide while others delaying
Prepare while others daydreaming
Begin while others planning
Work while others are wishing
Save while others wasting
Listen while others talking
Command while others criticizing
Persist while others quitting
Positive thinkers see opportunity in difficulty
Negative thinkers see difficulty in opportunity

GANDHI The management guru
Name:Mohandas Karanchand Gandhi
Company: India
Role: C.E.O
Goal: Complete Independence
Way: Through nonviolence
Capital: sacrifice
Partners: Indians
Managers: Nehru, Patel, Radhakrishnan, B.R.Ambhathker
The grand father of India having another angle of his life that is the management guru
His way makes us to be honest, to do honest, to be live in values and think for actual things
If any one lead company as Gandhi led India to get independence that company will be victories
Strategy:
Like corporate leaders think about turnover and development Gandhi dream for Indian independence
He has perfect view about his goal which is must for a manager
More than that He has perfect view about his way
At before him many struggles for independence but not highly successful because of violence then he change his way to nonviolence. In this way he understands the people strengths and taught which need for a manager.
There are two types of managers in the world
· Experts in getting short-term goals those not work for long term
· Long term planers who will not success if any other problems
The great Gandhi link the short term results to long term goals
- Change: Revolution depends on people
Business depends on market
Gandhi understand that thing then he change his way of leaving as he wares dress different from South Africa and India
Manager also has to think like that.
”I mean to say In Rome do what Romans do"
Change must start from manager himself
Every company has its own advertising budget. Here there is need of specification that how Gandhi use the communication media. There was no internet and T.V. Radio also not for all. Then how he led such a big country?
If he given a message in Gujarat it reached a small village in short time
So he use effective communication media as news papers and postal letters
There was perfection and accurate meaning in his letters but now we didn’t understand the advertisements.
His non violence is a brand. His smile is a brand His dress is a brand He himself is a brand
Human resource utilization:
Independence struggle did not start with Gandhi. Many leaders work on it but didn't concentrate on normal people. Gandhi did that. He motivates people as independence is for them. And he explains it in perfect way.
In some companies we see if there is success, managers feel it is because of them. If any failure occurs they blame junior. Unlike that Gandhi takes responsibility for every problem like chowrichowra incident. When India got independence he was some where without thinking as he achieved. He was thinking what will be future of India
In this way manager must take responsibility and must work for future
Values of business:
If your goal is high your way to reach that must have good
Many companies follow some wrong ways to increase share values and use black money. They try to make their competitors worst and target their products directly.
As per Gandhi ONE MUST RESPECT HIS COMPETATER
Already some companies like TATA, INFOSIS,WIPRO proves that if we have values of business and high goals we can reach.
There is no concentration about high profit only satisfaction will be therein every face in company. There is also trusteeship is there.
Gandhi likes every worker in a company treated as managing worker then only company will develop.
Customer relationship:
Gandhi treat business is the form of service
Customer is a special for our business
Customer does not depend on company. Company only depend on customer
These are the words about customer relationship
Every thing in life of Gandhi was good statement for current business environment
So every man must accept Gandhi is India's management guru
In Indian mythologies there is perfect word that matchs to manager
“STHITHAPRAGNA”.
Hope Anti smoking in public places law will survive Indians

Motivation
you can if you thought it
you can if you feel it
you can if you want it
you can if others do it
you can if you work it
That "it" is success which is waiting for you
